Do you just want to switch off a bit after university or go for a drink with your friends? Or are you in the exam phase and need a break? Then I’ll introduce you to a few bars/pubs near the market square! Because as we all know – those who have had a few beers the night before the exam have a better memory and are proven to perform better! The 3 bars/pubs I’m going to introduce here are all within easy reach. The Rathaus, Johanneskirche and Landwehrplatz stops are all just a few minutes‘ walk from the destinations.
General information: All the places presented are very cosmopolitan and yet different in their concept. There is something for every taste in this guide!
Tante Anna
The Anna is a very popular place for students, but all generations come together here.
If you like getting to know new bands, this bar is perfect for you – small concerts take place here several times a month. The bar is located not far from the market square in the centre of Saarbrücken, at Türkenstraße 3 to be precise. The prices are very attractive, especially for students, and the menu offers a wide range of drinks.
Fun fact: If you want to order a „cola“ beer in the Anna, the staff will tell you off. Because they only serve beer here, no mixes! That’s the law in the Anna.

Synop
Synop is also located in the centre of Saarbrücken, at the beginning of Mainzer Straße (Mainzer Str.1). The bar is particularly popular with students and offers unusual drinks. Each bar owner has created their own drink and these can be found on a special menu – there is definitely something for everyone here. The unusual furnishings and staff reflect the character of Synops. In summer, the outdoor area in the back courtyard is also a great place for an after-work cocktail. Various events and functions are also regularly organised here.

Du möchtest nach der Uni einfach ein bisschen abschalten oder mit deinen Freunden etwas trinken gehen? Oder du bist in der Klausuren Phase und brauchst eine Pause? Dann werde ich dir hier ein paar Bars/ Kneipen in der Nähe des Marktplatzes vorstellen! Denn wie wir alle wissen – wer am Abend vor der Klausur ein paar Bier intus hatte, hat ein besseres Erinnerungsvermögen und schneidet bewiesenermaßen besser ab! Die 3 Bars/ Kneipen die ich hier vorstellen werde, sind alle gut zu erreichen. Die Haltestellen Rathaus, Johanneskirche und Landwehrplatz sind alle nur ein paar Gehminuten von den Zieldestinationen entfernt.
Allgemeine Info: Alle vorgestellten Orte sind sehr weltoffen und in ihrem Konzept dennoch verschieden. In diesem Guide ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei!

Die Anna ist ein sehr beliebter Studentenort, allerdings kommen hier alle Generationen zusammen.
Wenn du gerne neue Bands kennenlernst ist diese Bar perfekt für dich – denn hier finden mehrmals im Monat kleine Konzerte statt. Die Bar liegt unweit des Marktplatzes im Zentrum von Saarbrücken, genauer gesagt in der Türkenstraße 3. Die Preise sind vor allem für Studenten sehr ansprechend und die Karte lockt mit einem großen Angebot.
Funfact: Wer in der Anna ein „Cola“-Bier bestellen will, wird von den Thekern eine Standpauke erhalten. Denn hier gibt es nur Bier, keine Mischungen! Das gilt als Gesetz in der Anna.

Jeder Theker hat seinen eigenen Drink kreiert und diese sind auf einer speziellen Karte zu finden – hier ist definitiv für jeden etwas dabei. Die ausgefallene Einrichtung und das Personal spiegeln den Charakter des Synops wieder. Im Sommer lockt außerdem der Außenbereich im Hinterhof für einen Feierabend Cocktail. Außerdem finden hier auch regelmäßig verschiedene Events und Veranstaltungen statt.

Tu veux simplement te détendre un peu après les cours ou aller boire un verre avec tes amis ? Ou tu es en période d’examens et tu as besoin d’une pause ? Alors je vais te présenter ici quelques bars/pubs à proximité de la place du marché ! Car comme nous le savons tous – celui qui a bu quelques bières la veille de l’examen a une meilleure mémoire et obtient de meilleurs résultats ! Les 3 bars/pubs que je vais présenter ici sont tous faciles d’accès. Les arrêts Rathaus, Johanneskirche et Landwehrplatz sont tous à quelques minutes à pied des destinations.
Info générale: tous les lieux présentés sont très ouverts sur le monde et pourtant différents dans leur concept. Il y en a pour tous les goûts dans ce guide !

Anna est un lieu très apprécié des étudiants, mais toutes les générations s’y côtoient.
Si tu aimes rencontrer de nouveaux groupes, ce bar est parfait pour toi – car de petits concerts y sont organisés plusieurs fois par mois. Le bar se trouve non loin de la place du marché, dans le centre de Sarrebruck, plus précisément au numéro 3 de la Türkenstraße. Les prix sont très intéressants, surtout pour les étudiants, et la carte attire par son large choix.
Funfact : Si vous souhaitez commander une bière „Cola“ à l’Anna, vous vous ferez sermonner par les Thekern. Car ici, on ne sert que de la bière, pas de mélanges ! C’est la loi à l’Anna.

Cette question est posée par tous ceux qui viennent d’arriver à la Faculté de commerce et d’économie de la htw Saar. Grâce à cet article, vous trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour trouver le meilleur moyen de vous rendre au campus de Rotenbühl.Le meilleur moyen de se rendre au campus de Rotenbühl depuis le centre-ville de Sarrebruck est de prendre le bus à l’arrêt Rathaus en direction de l’université de la Sarre. Depuis l’arrêt Prinzenweiher, le campus de Rotenbühl est accessible en quelques centaines de mètres à la Westpforte.Si vous manquez cet arrêt, il est également possible de rejoindre le campus à l’Ostpforte, à l’arrêt Waldhaus.J’expliquerai cela plus en détail dans plusieurs parties d’une vidéo de ma propre initiative. Amusez-vous bien en regardant la vidéo et j’espère que vous pourrez suivre les itinéraires possibles dans une certaine mesure. S’il y a trop de bruit dans la partie, je vous invite à vérifier, car le jour de l’enregistrement, le temps à Sarrebruck était désagréablement automnal. Les parties sont en allemand.

- The Backery
Est un café situé dans le centre (Gerberstr. 7, 66111 Saarbrücken). Spécialisé dans les petits déjeuners, brunchs et déjeuners, il est adapté aux plats végétariens, végétaliens et sans gluten.
Ouvert du lundi au vendredi de 9h à 19h et le samedi de 9h à 18h.
Les réservations et le paiement par carte sont possibles sur place. Il est également possible de prendre des boissons et des plats à emporter.
Actuellement, 26 plats et boissons sont disponibles sur place. Le café est connu pour son café et les gâteaux de saison qu’il propose.
- Café Lolo
Un café très connu et traditionnel dans le vieux Sarrebruck (Heuduckstraße 67, 66117 Saarbrücken). Ouvert du mardi au samedi de 7h à 18h et le dimanche de 8h à 18h.
Très connu depuis 1969 pour sa tradition boulangère, son art de la pâtisserie et sa pâtisserie. Le Café Lolo fait aujourd’hui partie des tendances et de la culture de la région de la Sarre. Il est très connu depuis 50 ans pour ses gâteaux au beurre.
Il existe également un café littéraire Lolo dans la Bahnhofstraße, dans la librairie Thalia, où de nombreuses personnes se rassemblent toujours pour boire un café et lire. C’est un très bon endroit pour rencontrer des gens. Ouvert du lundi au samedi de 9h30 à 18h.
- LUUC Saarbrücken
Est un café – bar situé au centre de Sarrebruck (Türkenstr. 17, 66111 Saarbrücken). Ouvert du lundi au mercredi de 9h30 à 20h30 ; jeudi et vendredi de 9h30 à 22h ; samedi de 9h30 à 22h et dimanche de 9h30 à 20h30.
Le café est très connu pour son petit-déjeuner avec ses bagels et ses céréales. Pour les amateurs de gâteaux, il y a différentes sortes de gâteaux et des Cinnamon Rolls.
- Tchibo
Est connu pour son délicieux café à emporter. En été, le café est très apprécié car il dispose d’une terrasse. Une très bonne adresse dans la Bahnhofstraße 50, 66111 Saarbrücken, pour faire une pause pendant le shopping. On y propose également des friandises sucrées. On peut également acheter du café sur place pour sa propre machine à café. Ouvert du lundi au samedi de 9h à 19h30.
- Kosmos – Café & Kneipe
Le Kosmos Café est un établissement collectif situé à Sarrebruck (Futterstraße 4, 66111 Saarbrücken). Le café est connu comme un lieu de détente pour lire, travailler ou discuter. Le café est également marqué par la littérature, avec son grand choix de littérature politique, de revues et de journaux. Le Kosmos propose également des plats entièrement végétaliens et régionaux.
Ouvert du mardi au jeudi de 10h à minuit, le vendredi et le samedi de 10h à 2h, et le dimanche de 10h à minuit.
- Celona
Le Café & Bar Celona se trouve sur la Berliner Promenade (Berliner Promenade 5, 66111 Saarbrücken). Il est connu pour la variété de ses boissons et de ses plats. Il est ouvert toute la journée et sert tous les repas, du petit-déjeuner au déjeuner, en passant par le dîner et les cocktails. Le petit-déjeuner et le café sont très appréciés par les habitants.

Le café se trouve juste à côté du St-Johanner Markt (Kaltenbachstraße 6, 66111 Saarbrücken). L’endroit est connu pour son ambiance festive, mais aussi pour ses cafés et gâteaux raffinés.

- Kulturcafé
Le Kulturcafé de Sarrebruck se trouve directement dans la vieille ville (Sankt-Johanner-Markt 24, 66111 Saarbrücken). Le café est réputé pour ses classiques du petit-déjeuner et ses spécialités de gâteaux faits maison. Le café accorde une grande importance à la fraîcheur et à la qualité des produits et de l’alimentation.

- Café am Schloss
Le Café am Schloss, comme son nom l’indique, se trouve au château de Sarrebruck (Schlossplatz 15a, 66119 Saarbrücken). Connu comme restaurant, il propose également des spécialités de café et de gâteaux. Un endroit idéal pour boire un café ou simplement pour se restaurer.
Ouvert tous les jours de 10h à 23h.

- The Backery
Is a café in the center (Gerberstr. 7, 66111 Saarbrücken). Specialized in breakfast, brunch and lunch, it is suitable for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes.
Open from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 7 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm.
Reservations and card payment are possible on site. It is also possible to take drinks and food „to go“.
There are currently 26 dishes and drinks on site. The café is known for its coffee and the seasonal cakes they offer.
- Café Lolo
A very well-known and traditional café in Alt-Saarbrücken (Heuduckstraße 67, 66117 Saarbrücken). Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 7 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm.
It is known for its baking tradition, confectionery and patisserie since 1969. Café Lolo is now part of the trends and culture in the Saar region. It has been famous for its butter cake for 50 years.
There is also a literary café Lolo in the Bahnhofstraße in the bookstore Thalia, where a lot of people always gather to drink a coffee and read. It’s a very good place to meet people. Open from Monday to Saturday from 9.30 am to 6 pm.
- LUUC Saarbrücken

Is known for its delicious coffee to-go. The café is popular in summer as it has a terrace. A very good address at Bahnhofstraße 50, 66111 Saarbrücken, to take a break while shopping. Sweet treats are also on offer. You can also buy coffee for your own coffee machine on site. Open Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 7.30 pm.
- Kosmos – Café & Kneipe
The Kosmos Café is a collective business in Saarbrücken (Futterstraße 4, 66111 Saarbrücken). The café is known as a relaxed place to read, work or chat. The Kulturcafé Saarbrücken is located directly in the old town (Sankt-Johanner-Markt 24, 66111 Saarbrücken). The café is renowned for its breakfast classics and homemade cake specialties. The café attaches great importance to fresh, high-quality products and nutrition.
Open from Monday to Saturday from 8.30 am to open end and on Sundays from 9 am to 11 pm.
- Café am Schloss
The Café am Schloss, as the name suggests, is located at Saarbrücken Castle (Schlossplatz 15a, 66119 Saarbrücken). Known as a restaurant, it also offers coffee and cake specialties. An ideal place to have a coffee or just a snack.
Open daily from 10 am to 11 pm.
