No matter if it’s a rainy day or a day where you just want to sit in a room with the A/C on. Going to the movies is always a good choice! You can immerse yourself in new worlds, explore new things and get to know new characters again and again.
The popcorn in the Passage cinemas is great, the retro-style entrance hall of the UT cinemas is fantastic and the latest, most popular films can be found at CineStar Saarbrücken. Alternative films can also be found in the Filmhaus and the good mix is what makes KameraZwo so special.
In this article, I will introduce you to the Filmhaus Saarbrücken.
In the video you can see the way from the main train station of Saarbrücken to the Filmhaus. You can also find tips on parking and the best way to get there by public transport.
There are many different ways to reach the Filmhaus using public transport. The different options are bus, suburban train or simply walking. Bus lines 128 towards Wackenberg, R10 and 506 towards Blieskastel go to St. Johanner Markt station, from where it only takes 5 minutes to reach the Filmhaus. You can take the same buses back to the station in the direction of the main station. If you turn off the bus stop into Mainzer Straße, it is only a few meters to the entrance of the Filmhaus on the left side of the street in the inner courtyard of the Filmhaus. Line 1 of the Saarbahn in the direction of Sarreguemines/Hanweiler/Brebach goes to Landwehrplatz, which is also only a 5-minute walk from the Filmhaus. If you prefer to see something of the city on the way, you can also walk through the pedestrian zone. The walk goes through the entire pedestrian zone and just 15 minutes straight ahead. You can also see this route in the video.
